A turnkey tiled flooring from ACSS includes

  • screeds
  • waterproofing
  • adhesives
  • tiles for floor and wall
  • drainage system
  • expansion and dilitation joints
  • grouts


The daily capacity per team of workers (4) can vary between 60 - 200 sqm depending on the type of installation (epoxy grout or bedding / cement grout or bedding).


Information for Architects, Designers and Owners


The following specifications are aimed to provide architects, designers and owners the necessary information to make his own choise of the right materials to get the optimum performance of his designed project.

The choice of materials should include the following elements:

-

substrate- i.g. screeds

-

waterproofing (optional)

-

proper tile adhesives

-

tiles

-

grouting materials

-

drainage system

-

expansion and dilitation joints


The choice of materials depends on the designed performance of the floor. Among other considerations, the customer is required to consider the following requirements:

-

Compressive strength of the final floor?

-

tensile strength?

-

hear bond strength?

-

foot and/or vehicle traffic (truck, forklifts etc...)?

-

resistance to differant chemicals: Acids (%?) alkalies, detergents etc...?

-

waterproofing of the system?

-

requirements of hygienic or bacterial resistance?

-

cleaning of finished floor with steam or high pressure, hot water?


These requirements will effect the following elements of the finished floor:

1.

The materials composing the screed level (sand & cement + additives?)

2.

The material of the tiles (Clinker, ceramic, porcelain, profiled or non-profiled surface)

3.

Thickness of the tile

4.

Dimension of the tile

5.

Width of joints

6.

Grouting materials
(Cementitious or Epoxy. Choice of Epoxies?)
